The targets
You play 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and the bull, outer and inner.
ADO, American Cricket Rules, 1984, revised 1991, 1995 copy, Rule 2 - 3
Closing
It takes 3 marks to close a number. A double is worth 2, a triple 3; on the bull, the outer is worth 1, the center 2.
ADO, American Cricket Rules, 1984, revised 1991, 1995 copy, Rules 4, 6 and 9 - Points
Scoring
A number you have closed scores its value, doubled or tripled depending on the segment, as long as your opponent hasn’t closed it. Closed on both sides, it scores nothing.

To win
The winner is the first to close everything with the most points. If points are tied, or nobody has any, it’s the first to close everything.

All closed, but behind
If you’ve closed everything but you’re behind, you keep scoring on numbers your opponent hasn’t closed, until you get ahead or they close everything.

The questions people ask.
How do you play Cricket darts?
Each player tries to close 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and the bull, by putting 3 marks on each. A closed number scores points for you as long as your opponent hasn’t closed it.
ADO, American Cricket Rules, 1984, revised 1991, 1995 copy, Rules 2, 4 and 7What is a double or a triple worth in Cricket?
Two and three marks. On a number you’ve already closed, it scores two or three times its value.
ADO, American Cricket Rules, 1984, revised 1991, 1995 copy, Rules 9 and 10Who wins at Cricket?
The first to close everything with the most points. If points are tied, the first to close everything. Closed but behind, you keep scoring.
ADO, American Cricket Rules, 1984, revised 1991, 1995 copy, Rule 11What is the bull worth in Cricket?
To close it, the outer counts as one mark and the center as two. Its value in points isn’t stated in the rules: the usual practice is 25 per extra mark, and that’s what Matchito counts.
ADO, American Cricket Rules, 1984, revised 1991, 1995 copy, Rule 6Who throws first in Cricket?
A coin toss decides who throws first at the bull. The dart closest to the centre starts the first leg. The loser of that leg chooses who throws at the bull for the second. If a third leg is needed, the bull is thrown again, and the loser of the coin toss chooses first.
ADO, American Cricket Rules, 1984, revised 1991, 1995 copy, Tournament Rules, Rule 21What is a treble 20 worth in Cricket?
If you have closed the 20 and your opponent hasn’t, 60 points. Otherwise it counts as 3 marks: the ones needed to close the 20 score nothing, and each extra mark is worth 20 points if your opponent hasn’t closed it. With one mark already, the 20 closes and you score 20; with none, it closes without points. Once the 20 is closed on both sides, it scores nothing.
